Roles
Roles view
A role is a user-defined name that you give to a collection of privileges. In N4, you cannot assign privileges directly to user accounts; therefore, you need to create roles that you can then assign to users to give them access to the system. For more information, see User form (on page 1).
The Roles view displays all the roles defined for the operator in the current scope level. If you are not an administrator, you may not have access to this view in N4. If you are a delegated user with a delegated role, you can see only the roles owned by the delegated role assigned to your user account. Based on your permissions, you can add, edit, and delete roles from this view.
